Who can use the BSC Dataverse

The BSC Dataverse is available for:

• Browsing metadata: Anyone including non-registered and outside users may browse through metadata. However, for downloading data, it is required to register and create an account.

• Adding and managing metadata and files:

  • BSC employees: Only BSC researchers and staff can upload and manage datasets. This includes editing metadata, setting access permissions, and updating datasets.

  • Collaborators: External collaborators can request permission to upload data, but dataset management remains the responsibility of the BSC employee(s) overseeing the project.
