To access the BSC Dataverse, you have different options

Which login method should you use?

BSC Dataverse authentication methods

Please follow this decision tree:

1) Are you a BSC employee?

• ✅ You must use SIR2 Authentication. No exceptions.
  
  

2) Are you a collaborator from a Spanish institution (but not a BSC employee)?

• ✅ You should also use SIR2 Authentication.
  
  

• ⚠️ Your institution might not appear by default. Please contact the Data Management team to request its inclusion.
  
  

3) Are you a collaborator from outside Spain?

• Do you already have an ORCID ID?
  • ✅ Use ORCID Authentication.
    
    
  • ❌ If not, create a Dataverse User.

⚠️ Currently, SIR2 authentication is available only for BSC employees. However, additional Spanish institutions can be added to the list upon request. If needed, please contact the Data Management team for assistance.
