Create and publish sub-collections

It is essential to ensure that regular BSC Dataverse users cannot create or publish sub-collections within your department’s Dataverse collection. Allowing this would automatically assign the user as the Admin of the sub-collection, enabling them to publish datasets without review by the Dataverse Steward. To maintain proper oversight, if a user requests a sub-collection in your department’s Dataverse collection, you must create the sub-collection on their behalf and assign them the "BSC Submitter" role for that sub-collection.

Create

To create a dataverse sub-collection, please, follow these steps:

1) Log in to the BSC Dataverse and navigate to your department’s Dataverse collection.
