Knowledge Models available

The DSW registry offers some Document Templates that have been imported to the BSC DSW as they are, you can choose any of these document templates to export your DMP:

• Horizon 2020 DMP - version 1.21.0
• maDMP (RDA DMP Common Standard) - version 1.23.0
• Questionnaire Report - version 2.15.0
• Science Europe DMP Template - version 1.24.0

If you would like to request a new Document Template, please contact the Data Management Team.

How to select a specific DMP template

The templates listed above correspond to publicly available Data Management Plan (DMP) formats. Depending on your funding agency or project requirements, you may need to select a specific template (for example, Horizon 2020 or Science Europe).

Let’s imagine that you want to use the Horizon 2020 template. Follow these steps to create a DMP using the Horizon 2020 template:

1. Go to the Projects section and click Create.

2. Enter a name for your DMP and select the Common DSW Knowledgee Model project template.

3. Select “Filter by question tags” and select “Horison 2020 DMP” and click Create.

4. Complete the questionnaire with your project’s information.

5. Navigate to the Documents tab and click New Document.

6. Enter a document name, choose Horizon 2020 DMP as the document template, and select your preferred export format (e.g. PDF Document) and click Create.

Once the document is generated, you can download it by clicking the three dots on the right side of the document list and selecting Download.
