📊 Fileset Data Usage¶
The Fileset Data Usage section lets you explore storage usage details for your filesets, visualize usage trends over time, and review individual user contributions. You can also manage API access keys for integration with external tools.
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide¶
1. Log into DM-Hub¶
- 🔒 For BSC users: https://datamanagement-hub.bsc.es
- 🌐 For external users: https://dm-hub.bsc.es
Upon login, you will be redirected automatically to your Profile page.
2. Select a BSC Username¶
In the profile view, you’ll see a list of your BSC usernames. Select the one you want to inspect.
For each username, you will see:
- 🗂️ Number of Filesets
- ☁️ B2DROP Quota
- 🖥️ OpenStack Projects
- 🔑 API Key Configuration (see API Key Access)
3. Explore Fileset Data Usage¶
Scroll down to the Fileset Data Usage section. Here, you'll find:
- A dropdown to select the fileset you want to inspect.
- Two tabs:
- 📈 General Stats
- 👥 Users Stats
4. General Stats Tab¶
Once you select a fileset, the General Stats tab shows:
- 💾 Disk Usage vs Disk Quota
- 🎞️ Tape Usage vs Tape Quota
- 📊 Disk and Tape Analytics — a pie chart showing used vs available space.
- 🕒 Usage Over Time — a dynamic chart showing how the fileset's storage evolved. You can adjust the start and end dates to filter the timeline.
5. Users Stats Tab¶
In the Users Stats tab, you will find a table listing all users with access to the selected fileset. Each row includes:

| User ID | Username with access to the fileset |
| Usage | Storage used by the user |
| Fileset Size | Total size of the fileset |
| % Used | Percentage of usage by the user |
| Updated At | Last updated timestamp |
You can also use the search input to quickly find a specific user.
🔑 API Access¶
To automate retrieval of fileset usage data, you can configure API keys under your profile.
