📂 B2Drop Management¶
DM-Hub allows you to easily monitor and manage your B2Drop account and group folders.
From your account overview to detailed shared folder usage, this guide walks you through both tools.
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide¶
1. Log into DM-Hub¶
Go to the appropriate login page for your user type:
- 🔒 BSC users: https://datamanagement-hub.bsc.es
- 🌐 External users: https://dm-hub.bsc.es
👤 Your B2Drop Account¶
The My B2Drop Account view provides an overview of your personal B2Drop profile, quota, and access to shared group folders.
▶️ Step 1 — Navigate to B2Drop → My Account¶
From the left-hand sidebar, go to:
B2Drop → My Account
▶️ Step 2 — Review Your Account Overview¶
You’ll see your personal B2Drop account summary, including:
- 👤 User Information — name, email, and account status
- 💾 Storage Quota — how much space you’ve used vs. your limit
- 🗂️ Group Folders — shared folders you belong to
- 🧑💼 Admin Summary (only for admins) — total managed group folders
🗂️ Your Current Group Folders¶
The My Group Folders view lists all shared folders you belong to, including their sizes, quotas, and usage details.
▶️ Step 1 — Navigate to B2Drop → Group Folders¶
From the sidebar, go to:
B2Drop → Group Folders
▶️ Step 2 — Review Folder List¶
Each row in the table represents one of your shared folders. You can view:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| 📛 Name | The shared folder name (click to view details). |
| 💽 Size | Current size used by the folder. |
| 📊 Quota | Maximum allowed quota for that folder. |
▶️ Step 3 — Explore Group Folder Details¶
Click a folder name to view all details, including:
- 📁 Usage Statistics — total and individual usage
- 👥 Members — who has access to the folder (folder admins only)
- ⚙️ Management Options — (folder admins only) quota and sharing settings
▶️ Step 4 — If No Group Folders Are Found¶
If no shared folders appear, you’ll see a message:
“You currently don't have any group folders.”
You can create one using the petition system:

🆘 Troubleshooting & Support¶
- Refresh the page if data doesn’t load.
- Missing account? Request a B2Drop account.
- Need a new shared folder? Request a B2Drop group.
